Medik8

Medik8 was founded in 2009 on the initiative of British scientist Elliot Isaacs, who spent months studying peer-reviewed dermatological research at the British Library, and tested the first formulas in the back room of his father's pharmacy near London. In 2011 he was joined by his brother, chemist Daniel Isaacs — together they built their own laboratories and in-house production.

It was there, in 2018, that the patented Crystal Retinal was created — retinaldehyde in a stable, treatment-room strength, with a unique „ladder of concentrations“ that allows you to safely build your skin's tolerance to vitamin A. Today Medik8 is a brand recommended by dermatologists, produced entirely in the United Kingdom, with a B Corp certification for sustainable development.
