Dermaquest Retinaldehyde Renewal Cream is an advanced anti-aging cream designed for sensitive, vascular-prone skin, and skin with rosacea. The formula is based on 0.05% retinaldehyde, an active form of vitamin A, which, after passing through the stratum corneum, transforms into retinoic acid. Retinaldehyde stimulates the renewal and remodeling of the dermis, improving its density and facial contours. This form of vitamin A is better tolerated than retinol, while also providing a more potent active ingredient.
