ZO Skin Health is a top-tier medical-grade skincare brand created by dermatologist Dr. Zein Obagi, who spent decades refining skin restoration protocols after procedures. It features high concentrations of retinol and products designed to work as a regimen rather than individually. At J'ADORE Instytut, we carry the full home care line.

What Sets ZO Skin Health Apart

Dr. Obagi's philosophy dictates that healthy skin is skin that efficiently renews itself — which is why the brand consistently focuses on retinol and epidermal stimulation rather than temporary hydration. Hence, products come in several concentrations of the same active ingredient to allow for a gradual introduction:

  • Retinol Skin Brightener 0,25% / 0,5% / 1% — retinol with a brightening component, available in three strengths.
  • Radical Night Repair 1% Retinol and Wrinkle & Texture Repair 0,5% — anti-aging nighttime treatments.
  • Daily Power Defense — one of the brand's best-selling products: DNA-repairing enzymes and retinol in a daily formula.
  • Growth Factor Serum and Growth Factor Eye Serum — growth factors to stimulate renewal.
  • Brightalive and Illuminating AOX Serum — brightening without hydroquinone.
  • Rozatrol — treatment for red and vascular skin.
  • Exfoliating Polish and Complexion Renewal Pads — mechanical exfoliation and acid pads.
  • Sun Protection SPF 30–50 — creams, fluids, primers, and mineral powders in three shades.

Programs Instead of Single Products

ZO designs skincare as a kit. In the store, you will find ready-made programs: Daily Skincare Program to start, Skin Brightening Program for hyperpigmentation, Skin Normalizing System for oily skin, and Aggressive Anti-aging Program as a comprehensive anti-aging treatment. This is a much wiser way to enter the brand than buying a single serum — the products are formulated to complement each other.

Frequently Asked Questions

What retinol concentration should I start with? If you have never used retinol, start with 0.25% twice a week and increase the frequency over several weeks. Moving up to 0.5% or 1% only makes sense once your skin tolerates the lower concentration well.

Can retinol be used in the summer? Yes, provided you consistently apply SPF 50 in the morning. Without sunscreen, retinol increases the risk of hyperpigmentation rather than preventing it.

Is a consultation necessary? For higher concentrations and problematic skin — it is definitely worth it. Our specialists will select the concentration and introduction pace during your visit.
