Mediderma is a Spanish brand from the renowned Sesderma group, specializing in medical dermocosmetics and post-treatment care. Products marked with “MD” are designed to complement in-office procedures—preparing the skin before chemical peels and aiding its recovery afterward. At J'ADORE Instytut, we offer their home care line.

Peri-Treatment Care
Mediderma is most effective when combined with professional treatments. After a chemical peel or laser session, the skin needs three things: barrier restoration, hydration, and absolute sun protection. The Hylanses line handles the first two, Sunyses MD takes care of the third, while Nomelan C Homecare was created specifically for post-depigmentation care.
During the post-treatment period, retinoids and acids should be discontinued for the duration recommended by your specialist. Returning to them too early is the most common cause of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use Mediderma without undergoing treatments? Yes, the entire home care line works independently. However, results are maximized when the skincare routine accompanies a series of treatments.
How long after a peel should I wait to use retinol? It depends on the depth of the procedure—usually from a few days to two weeks. The exact timeline is determined by your practitioner.
What is the difference between Mediderma and Sesderma? Same owner, different purpose: Sesderma is a broad dermocosmetic line, whereas Mediderma is specifically targeted at supporting in-clinic procedures.
