Dry, damaged hair regains its softness and shine through intensive regeneration and nourishment. We have curated a selection of masks, conditioners, and oils that rebuild the hair structure, facilitate detangling, and support styling. This is care for hair thirsty for hydration — after coloring, bleaching, frequent straightening, or high-heat blow-drying.

Where do dry and dull hair come from?

Healthy, shiny hair has smooth, flat cuticles — this allows light to reflect evenly, creating a natural glow. When cuticles are raised or damaged, the hair loses water and lipids, becoming dull, rough, frizzy, and prone to breakage. This is most often caused by coloring and bleaching, thermal styling above 200°C, chlorine, UV radiation, and hard water. Dry hair cannot retain moisture within its structure — which is why it needs ingredients that replenish and "seal" it.

Which ingredients and why?

Rebuilding dry hair is based on two pillars: protein and hydration — used alternately to avoid protein overload.

  • Hydrolyzed keratin and proteins (e.g., wheat) — integrate into the hair structure, fill gaps in the cortex, and help smooth the cuticle.
  • Argan oil — seals the cuticle and locks in moisture; a few drops on damp lengths and ends visibly reduce frizz.
  • Hyaluronic acid — binds water and deeply hydrates the hair.

How to choose the right care?

Hair after coloring and bleaching responds best to protein-rebuilding formulas with keratin. Dry but strong hair primarily needs hydration — masks with hyaluronic acid and nourishing oils. The best effect is achieved through an alternating rhythm: one protein mask, one moisturizing mask, and daily oil for the ends as an at-home SOS. Too much protein without hydration makes hair hard and brittle, so it is worth observing how it reacts.

If hair remains exceptionally weak or dull despite home care, our specialists will help you choose the right products and, if necessary, advise on regenerative treatments at the institute.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a protein mask and a moisturizing mask for dry hair?

A protein mask (with keratin, wheat proteins) rebuilds the structure and fills gaps in the cortex, while a moisturizing mask (with hyaluronic acid, aloe, shea butter) replenishes and retains water. Dry hair needs both — best used alternately to avoid protein overload.

How often should I use oil on dry hair?

Argan, camellia, or marula oil can be used daily — a few drops on damp lengths and ends before blow-drying. Oils seal the cuticle and lock in moisture, visibly reducing frizz.

Which ingredients best rebuild hair after coloring and bleaching?

After coloring and bleaching, it is worth reaching for formulas with hydrolyzed keratin and ceramides — they support the reconstruction of the damaged structure and smoothing of the cuticle. For the driest ends, oils and shea butter will be helpful.

What is protein overload and how to avoid it?

Too much protein without proper hydration makes hair hard and brittle. To avoid this, use protein and moisturizing masks alternately and observe how your hair reacts.
