What does the massage involve?

Massage is professional manual work on soft tissues (muscles, fascia, skin), which can be relaxing or more therapeutic in nature. Depending on the chosen technique, the massage:

  • relaxes tense muscles and supports their regeneration,

  • improves blood circulation and tissue oxygenation,

  • can promote a palpable sense of bodily "lightness",

  • helps reduce the effects of stress, improving well-being and the quality of rest.

Why is it worth it?

  • Quick relief from tension – especially in the neck, shoulders, and back after stress or sedentary work.

  • Regeneration and better muscle function – great support after workouts and in cases of strain.

  • Calming the nervous system – a feeling of stress "melting away" and improved sleep quality.

  • Enhanced well-being right after your visit – the massage provides an immediate sensation of comfort.

  • A treatment tailored to you – intensity and focus areas are determined at the beginning of your visit.

Types of massages – a quick guide

Here is a quick cheat sheet on which massage to choose:

  • Relaxation massage – gentle to medium pressure, designed to calm and unwind the entire body.

  • Classic massage – universal, combining relaxation with tension release; ideal as a starting point.

  • Sports massage – more intensive, focused on regeneration and relaxing overworked muscles.

  • Prenatal massage – gentle, focused on the comfort of the back and legs (subject to qualification).

  • Couples massage – the same time, the same moment of relaxation; ideal as a shared experience.

  • Warm candle massage – warm, comforting, deeply relaxing; additionally leaves the skin visibly soft.

  • Aromatherapy massage – relaxation using essential oils, tailored to your mood and needs.

  • Hot stone massage – deep warming and relaxation; great for chronic tension.

  • Hot chocolate massage – relaxation + skin care; leaves skin soft and comfortable after the treatment.

  • Chinese cupping massage – intensive vacuum massage on selected areas; stronger sensations and deep tissue work.

  • Thai massage – bodywork, pressure points, and mobilization; recommended for stiffness and limited mobility.

  • Balinese massage – dynamic, deep, and regenerating; a great combination of deep work and relaxation.

  • Herbal stamp massage – warmth and herbal aroma, a very "SPA-like" and relaxing experience.

  • Polynesian massage – rhythmic, soothing, highly anti-stress.

  • Ayurvedic massage – a holistic oil massage for those who need balance and mental quiet.

  • Lomi-Lomi massage – fluid, deeply relaxing, giving a sense of total body harmony.

  • Shiatsu massage (oil-free) – acupressure and point work; great if you dislike oils.

Indications:

  • stress, fatigue, mental overload,

  • muscle tension (neck, shoulders, back, lower back),

  • sedentary work, body stiffness, feeling of rigidity,

  • regeneration after physical exertion and workouts,

  • need to improve movement comfort and tissue relaxation,

  • drop in energy and the need for a body "reset".

Contraindications:

Massages are not performed in the presence of:

  • fever, infection, physical weakness,

  • acute inflammation, destabilized chronic conditions,

  • active skin diseases in the treatment area (wounds, infections, fresh irritations),

  • recent injuries, bruises, suspected fractures,

  • thrombosis / phlebitis and other severe circulatory disorders (requires consultation),

  • anticoagulant treatment (individual qualification required),

  • active cancer (and during treatment – only with doctor's approval and qualification),

  • pregnancy (applies to most massages; the exception is the dedicated prenatal massage after qualification).

Practical note: in cases of varicose veins, fragile capillaries, and a tendency to bruise, techniques are chosen with caution (not all will be suitable).

What does a visit look like?

  1. Short consultation – we determine the goal (relaxation, tension relief, regeneration) and target areas.

  2. Selection of technique and intensity – massage tailored to your sensitivity and needs.

  3. Treatment – working on the whole body or selected parts.

  4. Post-massage recommendations – tips on how to maintain the effect and what to avoid on the same day.

Recommendations before and after massage

Before:

  • eat a light meal at least 1.5–2 hours before your visit,

  • avoid alcohol and intense workouts immediately before the massage,

After:
