PODOFLEX® Foot Foam Cream for Calluses

The skin of the feet is the thickest on the entire body and simultaneously lacks sebaceous glands — it does not lubricate itself. On top of that, it endures daily strain and friction. Hence typical problems: calluses, cracked heels, corns, and a tendency to fungal infections. In this category, we offer podological and foot care preparations.

Product Groups

  • Urea creams — the foundation for calluses. A 5–10% concentration moisturizes, 15–40% exfoliates.
  • Epidermal softeners — sprays, gels, and foams used before a pedicure.
  • Cracked heel ointments — rich formulas with lipids and regenerating substances.
  • Fungal prophylaxis — sprays, nail oils, soaps with an appropriate pH.
  • Nail care — strengthening serums, polishes, and ingrown nail treatments.
  • Baths and scrubs — salts and salt-sugar scrubs that prep the skin.

Why heels crack

Contrary to intuition, the cause is not dirt or pressure alone, but a lack of water in the epidermis combined with excessive keratinization. Dry, calloused skin loses elasticity and cracks under pressure. Therefore, simply filing does not solve the problem — the skin reacts by producing even more calluses.

An effective routine has two stages: softening and removing the calloused epidermis, followed by regular, daily moisturizing with a urea- or lipid-based preparation. Results are visible after 2–3 weeks of consistency.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should you get a pedicure? Usually every 4–6 weeks; more often if prone to calluses.

Can these preparations be used if you have diabetes? Many of them were designed with the diabetic foot in mind, but always consult a podiatrist regarding your care routine — removing calluses on your own can be risky.

Will a cosmetic cure a fungal infection? No. Cosmetics have a supportive and preventive role; a diagnosed fungal infection requires medical treatment.
