Atopises — emollient

ATOPISES is a gentle body wash gel by Sesderma, intended for very dry, sensitive and atopic skin prone to irritation. It is soap-free, has a neutral pH and gently cleanses, while supporting the epidermis's protective barrier and protecting it from excessive water loss.

This is an emollient from the Atopises line — a Spanish brand Sesderma, which for years has based its formulas on liposomal technology: it encloses active ingredients in microscopic phospholipid vesicles, so they reach deeper and are released gradually, instead of acting abruptly from the first minute.

The package capacity is 500 ml. Indications: soothing/sensitivity, capillaries/redness, firming.

MECHANISM OF ACTION

Skin that cannot retain water

In atopic skin, the epidermal barrier is leaky — it lacks lipids and ceramides, so water escapes and irritants penetrate freely. Hence dryness, itching and susceptibility to irritation. Emollient care does not cure atopy, but it rebuilds the barrier and genuinely reduces everyday discomfort.

  • —Barrier restoration. Replenishes lipids whose deficiency is the essence of the problem.
  • —Water retention. Limits transepidermal water loss.
  • —Reduction of itching. Moisturized skin itches noticeably less.
