5% azelaic acid

The formula contains 5% azelaic acid — an ingredient with anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and sebostatic properties. Azelaic acid counteracts the breakdown of sebum and lipids into irritating aldehydes, fatty acids, and ketones that exacerbate acne.
