The key ingredient is lactobionic acid — a new generation polyhydroxy acid derived from naturally occurring lactose, which acts more gently than classic AHA and BHA acids, without causing intense peeling, burning, or redness.

How lactobionic acid strengthens the skin

Lactobionic acid hydrates and strengthens the protective barrier of the epidermis, stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin, and additionally inhibits the action of metalloproteinases and free radicals — thus preventing the formation of wrinkles, telangiectasia, and skin laxity.
