Pro-aging, firming cream for the eye and lip contour.

This is eye area care from the Retisil line — by the Spanish brand Sesderma, which has based its formulas on liposomal technology for years: it encapsulates active ingredients in microscopic phospholipid vesicles, so they penetrate deeper and are released gradually, instead of acting abruptly from the first minute.

The packaging capacity is 30 ml.

MECHANISM OF ACTION

Classic retinol in liposomes

Retinol is the best-documented anti-wrinkle ingredient in cosmetic dermatology. It acts on two levels: it accelerates epidermal cell turnover and stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen. Encapsulating it in liposomes changes the tolerance profile — the ingredient is released gradually instead of acting abruptly from the first minute.

  • —Epidermal renewal. It shortens the cell turnover cycle, which clearly slows down with age.
  • —Collagen synthesis. It stimulates fibroblasts to rebuild the skin's supporting fibers.
  • —Smoothing of wrinkles. Systematic use reduces the depth of lines and wrinkles.

How to use — eye area care

1. Take an amount the size of a grain of rice — that is enough for both eyes.

2. Apply with the tip of your ring finger, gently patting along the orbital bone.

3. Do not apply directly to the mobile eyelid or too close to the lash line.

4. Use morning and evening, after serum, before face cream.

Does retinol thin the skin?

No, that is a widespread myth. Retinol thickens the living layer of the epidermis and the dermis. It only thins the stratum corneum, that is, dead cells.

When are the effects visible?

Smoothing after a month, work on wrinkles after three to six months of systematic use.

Should it be applied around the eyes?

Only preparations intended for this area. A classic retinol cream is too strong there.
