SALISES Hydrating Gel 50 ml Sesderma
Salises — gel
SALISES is a lightweight moisturizing gel by Sesderma developed for oily and acne-prone skin, with a tendency to blackheads and excessive sebum secretion. Thanks to salicylic acid and a sebum-regulating complex (with zinc salts and B vitamins), it helps regulate the work of the sebaceous glands, gently cleanses pores and mattifies, while providing the skin with hydration without a greasy feeling. Aloe and soothing ingredients help alleviate irritation.
This is a gel from the Salises line by the Spanish brand Sesderma, which has for years based its formulas on liposomal technology: it encloses active ingredients in microscopic phospholipid vesicles, so they penetrate deeper and are released gradually, instead of acting abruptly from the first minute.
The package capacity is 50 ml. Key active ingredients in this formula: aloe. Indications: acne and imperfections, hydration, soothing/sensitivity, sebum reduction.
The acid that enters the inside of the pore
Salicylic acid is fat-soluble — and that changes everything. Unlike fruit acids, it does not stop at the surface of the epidermis but penetrates the sebum filling the pore and cleanses it from within. That is why for blackheads and oily skin it is an ingredient that is hard to replace.
- —Pore cleansing. Dissolves the sebum plug at the hair follicle opening.
- —Sebum regulation. Reduces excessive sebum secretion and mattifies the skin for longer.
- —Anti-inflammatory action. It soothes redness around inflammatory lesions.
- —Prevention of recurrence. Regular use limits the formation of new blackheads.
What's inside
A fat-soluble BHA acid. As the only one in this group, it reaches the inside of a sebum-filled pore and cleanses it from within.
The base is selected so as not to weigh down oily skin or clog pores.
They balance the action of the acid so that cleansing does not end with dryness and a reflex increase in sebum production.
How to use — gel
1. Apply a thin layer to cleansed skin.
2. Spread gently, patting until absorbed.
3. Use morning and evening, unless the packaging indicates otherwise.
4. In the morning, finish the ritual with SPF 50 sunscreen.
Who is the Salises line for
Salises is a line for oily and combination skin — the kind that shines after a few hours, has enlarged pores and keeps returning to blackheads despite thorough cleansing.
- —Oily skin. It shines, has enlarged pores, makeup doesn't stay on it.
- —Skin prone to blackheads. Nose, chin and forehead with visible blackheads.
- —Combination skin. Oily T-zone with normal or dry cheeks.
- —Acne-prone skin. With inflammatory lesions requiring soothing.
Questions and answers
It can, if used too often. Paradoxically, overly dehydrated oily skin produces even more sebum — which is why moisturizing is part of this treatment, not its opposite.
