Salises — cleansing preparation

SALISES is a foaming soap-free cleansing cream created by Sesderma for the daily cleansing of oily, combination and imperfection-prone skin. The formula with salicylic acid gently removes impurities, excess sebum and makeup residue without disturbing the skin's natural protective barrier.

This is a cleansing product from the Salises line — a Spanish brand Sesderma, which for years has based its formulas on liposomal technology: it encloses active ingredients in microscopic phospholipid vesicles, so they penetrate deeper and are released gradually, instead of acting abruptly from the first minute.

The packaging capacity is 250 ml. Key active ingredients in this formula: BHA acids. Indications: acne and imperfections, sebum reduction, brightening.

MECHANISM OF ACTION

The acid that enters the inside of the pore

Salicylic acid is fat-soluble — and that changes everything. Unlike fruit acids, it does not stop at the surface of the epidermis but penetrates the sebum filling the pore and cleanses it from within. That is why for blackheads and oily skin it is an ingredient that is hard to replace.

  • —Pore cleansing. Dissolves the sebum plug at the hair follicle opening.
  • —Sebum regulation. Reduces excessive sebum secretion and mattifies the skin for longer.
  • —Anti-inflammatory action. It soothes redness around inflammatory lesions.
  • —Prevention of recurrence. Regular use limits the formation of new blackheads.

A fat-soluble BHA acid. As the only one in this group, it reaches the inside of a sebum-filled pore and cleanses it from within.

Non-comedogenic formula

The base is selected so as not to weigh down oily skin or clog pores.

They balance the action of the acid so that cleansing does not end with dryness and a reflex increase in sebum production.

1. Apply a small amount to damp skin or hair.

Does salicylic acid overdry the skin?

It can, if used too often. Paradoxically, overly dehydrated oily skin produces even more sebum — which is why moisturizing is part of this treatment, not its opposite.

Can I use it every day?

Start with once a day in the evening. Cleansing products with salicylic acid can be used daily from the start.

Is it suitable for dry skin?

Not as a base for care. Spot treatment for individual blemishes — yes.

Can it be combined with azelaic acid?

Yes, it's a proven combination for acne-prone skin. Separate them by time of day or use them alternately.
