Samay — cream

Anti-aging care for sensitive skin.

This is a cream from the Samay line — by the Spanish brand Sesderma, which for years has based its formulas on liposomal technology: it encloses active ingredients in microscopic phospholipid vesicles, so they penetrate deeper and are released gradually, instead of acting abruptly from the first minute.

The package capacity is 50 ml. Indications: anti-age, soothing/sensitivity.

MECHANISM OF ACTION

Skin that needs nourishment, not just water

Moisturizing and nourishing are two different things. Dehydrated skin needs water, skin deprived of lipids needs fats. The Samay line is a richer care proposition, aimed at rebuilding the lipid layer and restoring comfort to the skin.

  • —Nourishment. Replenishes lipids whose deficiency is responsible for roughness and tightness.
  • —Barrier restoration. Seals the skin's protective layer.
  • —Smoothing. The skin becomes soft and smooth to the touch.

1. Apply to cleansed facial skin, after serum.

2. Spread in circular motions, not skipping the neck and décolletage.

4. In the morning, finish the ritual with SPF 50 sunscreen.

Is it suitable for oily skin?

Rather not as a base. Oily skin has its own lipids; it needs hydration, not nourishment.

Should it be used all year round?

In winter as a base, in summer rather periodically or only in the evening.

Does it weigh down the skin?

The formula is rich by design. For normal skin, a thin layer is enough.
