Serenity — mask

A relaxing overnight mask.

This is a mask from the Serenity line — by the Spanish brand Sesderma, which has based its formulas on liposomal technology for years: it encloses active ingredients in microscopic phospholipid vesicles, so they penetrate deeper and are released gradually, instead of acting abruptly from the very first minute.

The package capacity is 50 ml.

MECHANISM OF ACTION

Skin that reacts to everything

Reactive skin is skin with a weakened barrier — it lets irritants through and loses water faster than it should. The Serenity line does not try to "fix" anything with active ingredients. It does something more difficult: it rebuilds the barrier and calms over-reactivity so that the skin stops reacting to stimuli that are neutral for others.

  • —Soothing of reactivity. Reduces the tendency to redness and burning sensation.
  • —Barrier restoration. Replenishes lipids whose deficiency is responsible for hypersensitivity.
  • —Moisturization. Skin with a damaged barrier loses water faster and requires constant hydration.
  • —Protection against irritants. Limits the reaction to temperature, wind and pollution.

How to use — mask

Most often it's a sign of a damaged barrier — after overly intensive exfoliation, due to stress or changing conditions. Stop using active ingredients for a few weeks and focus on rebuilding.

How long does barrier repair take?

Usually four to eight weeks of consistent, minimalist care.

Can I go back to acids after the treatment?

Yes, but introduce them one at a time and slowly, observing your skin's reaction.

Is it only temporary care?

It can be permanent. Sensitive skin usually remains sensitive, and gentle care throughout the year works well for it.
